when I try to answer a call waiting call it disconnects me from current caller and does not pick up the incoming call. Anyone else have this problem?

ABSOLUTELY!!! Just got off the phone with tech support and they tell me that while I'm waiting for my landline number to be ported, I need to have my current phone service co. turn on "Call Forwarding Busy" and then they provided me with a phone number to give to my phone co. for the calls to be forwarded to. How frustrating!

I believe your ooma line needs to be configured for call waiting to work correctly. This isn't a regular issue and only seems to effect some.
A quick call to Customer Service will fix it.
