Can I add blocked numbers to my contact list?

Post by jsnack » Sat Jun 01, 2013 10:16 am

A few of my friends have blocked numbers. They show up as "anonymous" on my caller ID. If I add them to my contact list, can I see their name?

Thanks for any help.

I don't know, that sounds like a curious experiment. (Easily duplicated too)
To call from a line separate from Ooma and use caller ID blocking and then pre-identify that number to Ooma through my.ooma.com/contacts... I have a feeling it would carry whatever name you put in contacts for it, however depending on the action chosen via my.ooma.com/privacy and ../blacklists the call may never even be allowed to ring through so that any caller ID data might be shown. In that case it would be self defeating. The OP seems a little confused as to what exactly they'd like done in this scenario.
If, instead, we are talking about Call Logs through my/call_logs then I am quite sure that the "anonymous" call would be labelled exactly what was chosen via /contacts.
