New to Ooma - about three days. Call forwarding seems to become active somewhere between 5 and 40 minutes after I select and save. I hope this is not normal. I would like to set it just prior to leaving and know that it works.

Takes 2 to 5 mins sometimes less. If call is coming from another Ooma, forward doesn't work.

Interesting concerning call from another Ooma not being forwarded. Then what if I set system to Multi-Ring? Do all calls go to Ooma and Alternate number, or only non-Ooma calls?

Only non Ooma.
