Static on new setup

Static on new setup

I just set up Ooma and I am experiencing static on the line (more like a sputtering or flutter sound). I have AT&T Uverse internet only (no tv or phone). The Uverse modem is connected to my Belkin router which is connected to the Ooma hub. I have a wired phone connected to the phone port of the Ooma hub. I do get a dial tone and the phone service works but the noise is terrible. Any suggestions? If this doesn't get resolved I'm returning the product.

Have you tried a different phone? Is anything connected to the "wall" port of Ooma (if you have a "wall" port?)?
