Well just set up my ooma and what a nice change. I will be getting rid of my landline soon to a tune of $90 a month.
Now my question is when I set it up I had a private number assigned to the scout. But when I entered the info. I put the number for display on outgoing instead of my name. How can I change that ?

You can't change this through the web right now, so you'll have to give our customer service agents a call. They can change it for you.

Yes. ooma does incur a small cost to update your name in the various directories we interface with, so there may be a nominal fee to do so.

Well I called CS today expecting a long wait. And it was I had to wait an entire 30 seconds. But Dave on the other end was very helpful
