Today I received email confirmation from Vonage that my number was ported to a "new provider" - ooma. However, for the ooma hub tab to go blue, the output from the vonage box must be connected to the "wall" input on the ooma hub. I understand this connection was needed while the number was being ported, but why is it needed now. I want to get rid of the vonage hardware.

That implies that Ooma hasn't completed their part of the port yet.
