My first handset had battery issues, after a full charge (18 hours) taking it off the base for only 5 minutes made the battery meter drop. At first I thought maybe it was just the meter not being calibrated properly but after only 15 minutes of using the phone, it started breaking up and I couldn't hear the other party. I exchanged the handset, and the new one does the same thing. I charged it for 15 hours, and not even 5 minutes off the base the battery meter has already dropped. I haven't even made any calls on it yet, all I did was pair it to the Telo. Is this normal behavior? Did I actually get TWO bad units?

It was common with some earlier firmware versions, but battery life for my handsets improved with the current version and also seemed to get better with time. I haven't done a rundown test recently but in normal use they seem to be OK. We are pretty good about returning them to the base after use, but my wife often has extended calls and hasn't had an issue lately.
