I have Verizon FiOS service, I distributed it to my parents apartment and to my own. My parents OOMA is working for some time. Last night I did connect mine and I get all lights red, no dialtone or any activity on it. What am I doing wrong? Can two OOMA devices work on the same network? I would think that they could. I am not using wall lines, just the internet link.

Please let me know what am I doing incorrectly or wrong? OOMA1 works just fine at my parents apartament, my OOMA2 that I just got does not work, all lights are red.

If you have both units connected to a router, they should work fine.
If you have them in series, you have to change the IP address range that the DHCP server in one of them issues.
The default is 172.27.35.x.
Change one of them to use 172.27.36.x
Do this by connecting a computer to the Home port and going to
Customer since January 2009
