New firmware Device Status - Rev: 1.31720

My OOMA TELO is reporting a new firmware, Device Status - Rev: 1.31720 . It was 1.31387. Hope to read soon what has changed with the new firmware.

The Ooma Telo dimmer button now works with the firmware for diffrent brightness levels!

Yippie! I was hoping they would fix this. Simply having it as on/off just didn't make sense.

You don't download firmware, it is pushed to you automatically on their schedule.

How do I know what rev. I'm currently using, Murphy?

On your Telo handset press the MENU button. Scroll down to the bottom listing, INFORMATION. Select. Scroll down to the bottom numbers. This shows the current version 31720.

On the Telo itself:
If the Telo is connected between the modem and the router open up your browser and go to http://setup.ooma.com. The version number is on the STATUS page.

If the Telo is connected into your router (as you would a pc) connect a pc or laptop into the HOME/NETWORK port of the Telo and reboot the pc/laptop so it will obtain an ip from the Telo. Once rebooted open up your browser and go to http://setup.ooma.com. Check the STATUS page.
