I tried to run a line from my house's phone jack to the Ooma. I can only receive incoming calls but can't make any outgoing calls with all the handsets around the house. I called AT&T and they said they already have my landline disconnected. My landline doesn't have a dial tone when I tested. I looked at the NIB, the line is still physically connected. Do I have to disconnect the landline the physically in order to make the outgoing calls. It's strange that it works with incoming calls but not outgoing now. I recently upgrade my DSL to Uverse.

You need to disconnect your house wiring from the telephone company.
In most cases, you just unplug the modular plug(s): viewtopic.php?t=14206#p99167
