Received/installed new Telo unit yesterday...worked great for a few minutes and then bonked...long story short, if you are getting flashing red emblem (after initial software update)/busy signal combo, a good place to start before embarking on the tech support journey is making sure the green light is on where internet feed connects to the Telo unit (indicating unit 'recognizes' internet connection)...turns out the included cable faulted after a very brief initial use...and Telo was not able to access server...a new cable, a couple minutes and glowing green light later, it was back up and running...
