Verizon Fios Wireless Connection?

Post by jxt » Sat Jun 02, 2012 1:11 pm

How do I hook up my new Ooma to my fios? I'm not good with techy stuff... I thought I followed the directions, but it didn't work, so I guess I did something wrong! I'm getting blinking blue lights and a busy signal.

Can anyone tell me exactly where the ethernet cable needs to go?

Here's what I have:
Verizon Fios Wireless Router (Actiontec if it matters) It has LAN and WAN ports open.
Vtech Cordless Phone
HP Slimline s3500f PC

What do I have to connect with what and where- simplest terms possible, please! Thanks to anyone who can help - I know I should know more about this stuff!

Connect the ethernet cord to one of available ethernet ports (LAN) on your Fios device, the other end to your Telo's "To Internet" port and leave it there until Telo comes up all blue (all buttons are blue). To make sure you have internet connection, you can connect a computer to one other LAN port on your Fios device and see if you can surf the internet.
