Setting up Ooma Handset

When I set up my telo for the first time, It will give me the option of choosing a second number. If I choose a second number and then purchase a Ooma Handset, say a few weeks later, and I want that second number to go on the handset, does it automatically just go there? Or do I register that to my Ooma device? Thanks

It has to be configured in your my.ooma account by you.
The second number is by default a shared number.
Customer since January 2009
Telo with 2 Handsets, a Linx, and a Safety Phone
Telo2 with 2 Handsets and a Linx
