Please Help: Ooma Device Stopped Working

Hi, I am extremely frustrated at the moment. We had our Ooma working great, but had to disconnect it, and now I can't get it to work.

I bought a brand-new Cisco router that is really wonderful. It works perfectly. However, when I hook up the Ooma device correctly, as instructed (I have checked the wiring five times: this isn't the problem), the router no longer is identified by either the Ooma or my laptop. It's like it disappears.

When I spoke to Ooma support, they ran some checks for me and confirmed that the router is not being seen by the Ooma. In other words, it is as if I don't have Internet service at all. When I remove the Ooma from the loop, the wireless router works perfectly, is seen by several computers in the house, and presents no problem in accessing the Internet.

Any suggestions? I am running out of options. I am considering exchanging the Ooma for a new unit, to see if that fixes the problem.

Has anyone encountered this problem?
