Ooma provides real-time emergency alerts with new 911 notifications features

New Feature Available Today For Ooma Premier Subscribers

Ooma, Inc., the leading provider of HD-quality free home phone service, today introduced its 911 Notifications feature, radically advancing critical communications during a home emergency situation.

With the 911 Notifications feature, Ooma Premier subscribers can enter up to three email addresses or mobile phone numbers into the 911 Notifications area of the “My Ooma” online control panel. The Ooma 911 Notifications feature will then send alert messages to specified recipients the very moment 911 is called from the subscriber’s Ooma phone number. When safety is a top priority, the 911 Notifications feature from Ooma fits the bill like no other.

New customers signing-up for one-year of Ooma Premier service receive their choice of a free number port, Ooma Telo handset, Ooma Bluetooth Adapter or extended warranty.
