My OOMA has been not used for a while, as we were traveling. I'd like to get it restarted, but nothing I can think to do will cause the little "cloud thingy" in the middle to light up.
How do I do a hard resest?

Connect an ethernet cable between the "to internet" or "modem" port of Ooma and the modem/router, power up the Ooma, this should bring Ooma online.
