I called centurylink today to have them separate out my dsl from my phone so I could port over my number. They told me that I needed to pay about $15 for the line to my house plus another $35 or so for my DSL. So, about $50 total (This is the cost after the 1 year promotional pricing). The problem is I could get phone/dsl from them for about the same price. which just about make ooma a wash. I had bout ooma planning on paying just the $35 and not having a phone bill. Does anyone have centurylink stand alone dsl and what is your price for it.

Generally, DSL without phone is $5 to $10 more per month.

Do you have cable option? That's steep for DSL.

I think Centurylink is a reseller. All DSL service is provide by the babies Bell, now only a few remained: ATT, Verizon, etc.

I would check with the big guys first (ATT, Verizon) or the DSL reports site
