Ooma voicemail notification

Post by dasman » Tue Apr 27, 2010 1:09 pm

Is Ooma Voicemail notification (via email and/or SMS) an Ooma Premier feature?, or does it work with Ooma "regular"?

I see that voicemail forwarding is listed as Premier service, but I can't find info on voicemail notification...

Thanks,

dave

Voicemail notification is also a Premier service.

If you get a new unactivated Ooma Core (hub+scout) bundle, then it comes with no taxes and slightly different service. The service level is listed as Ooma Core and it includes email and SMS voicemail notifications, as well as name+number incoming caller-id. Voicemail forwarding is still a premiere feature though.

It looks like with the newer devices email and SMS voicemail notifications are not part of the basic package though and you'd need Premiere to get them. I think the service level is listed as Ooma Basic.

That's disappointing...

I had gone here http://www.ooma.com/premier/features -- where they only list forwarding as a premier service. I didn't even think to go back and look at the Telo product page (I assumed premier was independent of the device -- hub vs telo)

Thanks,

dave
