Turn On/Off Do not disturb from any handset?

Post by 280zx » Mon Sep 13, 2010 9:32 am

Is that possible? I know I can call my telo handset with *01, but can I turn dnd on or off by dialing something from one of my regular handsets (just regular uniden cordless handsets)?

You can toggle DND by going under "Menu->Service Settings"

Thanks, but I found that already. I meant from a non ooma telo handset. Just a regular cordless phone that's part of the ooma "network" in my house.

Ah sorry, I missed that.

There's no way to do enable/disable DND from a regular telephone at this time via a star code.

There is something in the works to be able to toggle DND from My Ooma - though I'm not sure if that would be helpful in your case.

I would like to able to turn off the Do Not Disturb setting remotely. Often I need to get a hold of someone at home when I'm gone and the DND is set to on. At a minimum, being about to turn it on or off from the website would be nice.
