I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this. I let my telo forward to my cell phone during the day when I'm not home. The problem is false rings, this usually occurs in spurts of from 2 to 3 days or more per week. Ooma logs the call and forwards me the notice. Each time it is a recording of usually 9 to 10 seconds duration and all it is is static, like a hissing sound.This sometimes occurs at a rate of 3 or 4 per hour. I tried some fixes with support but nothing has stopped it entirely. Support had me leave some on the answer machine, but they could not identify what it was. Other than that I really like the Ooma unit. Sound quality is great and so is the price.
