intermittent caller ID

intermittent caller ID

I have had my Ooma for only a week. I chose to use my existing phone number and am waiting for the porting to be completed. I have one phone plugged into the old At&T outlet, and all others are through the Ooma base (my old base station plus 3 wireless handsets)

The issue is that the caller ID is intermittent. Yesterday every call was identified properly, today I get "unknown", from the same caller that was identified yesterday. I've not changed a thing.

Anyone have any ideas on what's going on? Does it have anything to do with the number porting not completed yet?

You are in "landline integration" mode and in this mode, people have reported issues with ooma device not reflecting incoming callerid even if they subscribe to callerid feature on landline.

Yes. When I was in landline integration mode, I didn't get any incoming callerid. Once port was complete, all good.
