Caller ID?

Caller ID?

I did have caller ID befoer I down graded my phone servive to just a "basic number" and now I have no caller ID and all incoming calls in my Call Log show "UNKNOWN".
Is there a way to get caller ID back again through OOma and have the incoming callers number show up in my Call Log?

Hello,

I see your account is configured as Landline. This means that your phone provider would be the one to provide Callerid service. You would want to check with them.

I only have a land line until my number gets ported. After it's ported I plan on geting rid of it.
Will I be able to have Caller ID through Ooma once I discontinue my landline?

Hello,

Yes, once your number port completes over to Ooma, we would provide callerid.

My number has been ported over to ooma but caller id does not show up on my phone, i have ooma connected to all outlets in my house, how do i get the caller id? thanks

Hello,

Looks like your port completed on Aug 4. Caller id name usually takes 7-10 business days. There are a chain of events.
The terminating carrier needs to update the database as well as our carriers.
