Telo Update: 38948

Post by fthomasson » Wed Jul 28, 2010 4:24 am

Last night my Telo was updated to 38948. Ooma has posted any info about. Is it minor tweaks, major change or what?

Mine too...

I hope it has to do with CWCID...

I do not see a post on what it updated...

This is anything but a minor update. The release notes are posted here: 38948 Release Notes. For some, the sweetest fix is this:
- DTMF received from outside can now be heard on phone port [8730]
This means you should be able to use an outboard answering machine and do remote retrieval of messages - or if you have an automated attendant in your system, it means it should accept a caller's input. Note that the DTMF is heard only on the PHONE port and it may not work with all outboard systems - but if you have been waiting for it, you may be pleased with this additional function.
