At&t dry loop

Post by mrgamers » Tue May 04, 2010 8:32 pm

I have a question: If i decide to drop my landline with AT&T, can i still keep my CURRENT dsl price rate or will i be changed to DSL DIRECT EXPRESS RATE(35 dollars-dsl without landline rate)? Currently i have dsl express(1.5mpbs) for 25.00 dollars and that is the price for people who ALSO have landline.

Have anyone done this? thanks!

Have you considered calling ATT and asking them? Different areas may be covered by different tarrifs or marketing promotions. What has been wonderful for one user may not be the same for another in a different area of the country. ATT cannot raise your rates for just asking - although if you talk to their escalation department, they may be able to offer you a better deal if they think they may loose not only your dialtone business but also your Internet business. Don't be timid - ask for their very best offer to keep you as a customer.
