Telo Handset - Line 1/Line 2

Telo Handset - Line 1/Line 2

Question.

Using the Telo handset (jury still out on whether I like it).
I put Line 1 in use.
I use the Tel handset and it does default to Line 2 as it should.
Call my cell (using Line 2) and the caller ID is the line 1 number.
Do I have to setup the handset as a device in My Ooma or is that just the way it will work?

Yes, the lines are separate from the numbers. Phones connected to the Telo base or unassigned Telo Handsets will show the primary number as the default outgoing CID, but you can force the the second number to show by preceding the dialed number with **1. If you assign a Telo Handset to the second number, just the opposite is true for that handset, while you can force it to show the primary number on outgoing CID by preceding the dialed number with **0.
