"fax mode" can be set by *99 on a per call basis. Seems like this feature enables the *99 mode on a line for all calls.
I'm guessing this feature was requested/designed to be used with a dedicated fax line? Any other reason?
It gets rid of the hum that many hear between words.

I thought the main difference between the Hub and Telos was the Scout vs Handset, Quality improvement over handset to handset and DTMF pass through. Based on this I didn't think it affected incoming faxes.
I have the hub but on Myooma, I have the option to enable the "fax mode". I would think this option would not be available.
