MAC Address Weirdness...

Post by MikeekiM » Sat Oct 17, 2009 1:55 pm

On the bottom of my hub, the last last two characters of my MAC address is "A2", yet when I check out my router status, the hub shows up with the exact MAC address except the last two characters are "A3".

None of my connected devices on my router status page show a MAC address with "A2"...

What's going on here?

Then it's the MAC of the HOME port. Look in the Network page of the hub web http://setup.ooma.com

How did you get the MAC address? Did you see it in http://setup.ooma.com with the computer connects to ooma device home port ?

You can look at this thread.

The home MAC address is one less than the Internet port MAC address. And it is the home MAC address that you need.
