Caller ID displays "ooma inc" on the phones of many people I call. Sometimes they don't answer because they think it's a solicitor calling. Is there any way to change it so my name displays on caller ID instead?

You have to Call Ooma support on this one. Make sure they open a ticket. It took a few days for mine to work after they closed my ticket.

This is happening because ooma submits multiple CID account numbers at one time to the CID Databases and sometimes they don't update correctly with the individual's CID information and just update all the numbers as belonging to Ooma Inc.

As previousloy suggested, call CS and request them to correct it
It may still takje a few weeks for the correct information to get propapagated to all the CID databases in use
