I have had my ooma for about a year all has been working good until now.
I have modem-ooma- switch. I have the DMZ configured to my wan, i could access my home server and slingbox from out side. Now all of a sudden when using my slingbox from out side it works for about 15 to 20 minutes and then ooma turns red (top 2 buttons sometimes). I unplug ooma plug it back in and it works for another 15 to 20 minutes. This just started happening this past weekend of course during football start up.
My router is a linksys 350N. any ideas I can try?

You said that you have modem-ooma-switch

Where is the router?

sorry, I have modem-ooma-router.
It happens consistently. I pull the power on ooma. plug it back in, it comes back on line. I start using the slingbox or FTP a large file and ooma's
to to button lights turn red and stay that way until I power cycle it.

Two things to try.

Verify that your router has the latest firmware that Linksys has provided for it.

Put the ooma hub behind the router and leave the the Home port unused.

1 thing to remember is this configuration has worked good since Feb 2009.
I have not made any changes to the configuration.

Thanks for you suggestion

That's all well and good but now something has broken. You need to rearrange things to determine what is broken. The ooma hub going offline may be a symptom and not the cause.

I will try your sugestion when I get home tonight.
This change takes some work I have to change my DMZ on the ooma,
change the static id on my router, I haves several devices behind the ooma and my router.
