2 hubs: one number sent as CID

Post by jm9496 » Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:24 am

Let's say I have two ooma hubs. As a result, each has its own DID. Can request one hub send another's DID as CallerID? When I was using VIOP (the real kind, not the consumer box kink), I just set the outbound CID to whatever I wanted.

As you're probably aware, you can only set the caller id displayed on outbound calls to a number that is assigned to a specific hub. Two different hubs can not share account information or numbers as far as I know.

Since the hubs are running a version of Asterisk, it may be technically possible, but I doubt they're setup to do it.
