Fax Problems

Since I got Ooma, my fax machine has not been working. Do I have to do something at the connection? Anyone else have this problem?

There is a list of things to do for fax and if you search the forum you'll find them all.
Here's a few.

Only use the hub for fax.
Set the fax machine for 9600 baud.
Add *99, (include the comma) to the phone number before dialing out.
This turns on fax mode (turns off compression)

Let us know if this helps.

I'm sure other fax users will add to this post.

Just to clarify, the comma adds a pause, which on some fax machines (like mine) is entered as the letter P instead of a comma.
