Ok so after getting my ooma today and going through the setup i am still stumped with a couple of problems
I would like to have my GVV number (home phone) and my cell phone under one google account. I would like to be able to share the voicemail. how great would that be !!! I can check my voicemails from my cell and home in the same spot! however with my cell the problem i am encountering is:
When calling my cell from the house phone which my wife might do gets a busy signal and " called an inactive number" when it is forwarded to my voicemail??
Why is this? Is it busy because i am calling from my home phone which has the caller id override with google voice number as caller id?
Is it actually using google voice on my home phone when i call out or ooma?

With GVE, calling out is using Ooma but Ooma uses your GV number as outgoing callerid if you choose that option.

Also, calls to your Ooma number are answered by Ooma's voicemail, not GV's. This was a point of confusion for me.
