Wireless Adapter and security

Post by azism » Wed Feb 06, 2013 7:48 pm

I was wondering how secure the wireless adapter is. I am debating the Linx VS. the Wireless Adapter. However, the security of the Wireless Adapter comes to mind right away. But then, is the Linx any more or as secure? Boy, the things one thinks of after the decision to upgrade is made. :?

The wireless adapter can use WPA2 encryption. It's as secure as any wireless computer is.

In either case (Linx or wireless) someone would have to parked in your driveway to even detect the signal.

For consideration: http://compnetworking.about.com/od/wire ... curity.htm

Chances are, you won't have any eavesdropping going on unless you somehow give NSA, CIA reasons to try it.
