My Hub is no longer working and only displays a solid red light on the tab. I've tried following the reset instructions (holding down tab while plugging power back in) but the light never goes out and the Hub no longer connects. Is it time for a new one?

Yes, unfortunately that indicates a hardware error.
See if you still get a red tab after leaving it powered off for a few hours.
