Home address privacy

Post by brisket » Sat Dec 01, 2012 2:11 am

Can anyone tell me if it is possible for someone to determine my actual home address from my Ooma phone number? If it is possible, can I disable that on my end?
Thanks very much

If you ever listed your number on the white pages and you ported in your number to Ooma, then folks might still be able to look up your address via your number (address that you had when you were in the white pages). If you got one of the Ooma assigned numbers, no way folks can know your address. What you provide to Ooma as home address, no one has access to that.
