Recently (in the last 6 months?) I started getting complaints from people I would call that the name displayed on the incoming caller ID was not mine! It's a person's name, but not a person I've ever heard of! I can't say the problem STARTED only 6 months ago, only that people started to complain about it. It's possible that it's been this way the entire time.
The number in question is one that I ported to Ooma from a Verizon landline long ago as part of my gift for purchasing Premier.
So my question is: how do I resolve this? Is this something Ooma handles? Is there some magical database in the telephony cloud that I need to access to update it myself?
