Caller Id Display Name is Incorrect

I've been an Ooma Premier user for almost three years and continue to be happy with the quality of service provided.

Recently (in the last 6 months?) I started getting complaints from people I would call that the name displayed on the incoming caller ID was not mine! It's a person's name, but not a person I've ever heard of! I can't say the problem STARTED only 6 months ago, only that people started to complain about it. It's possible that it's been this way the entire time.

The number in question is one that I ported to Ooma from a Verizon landline long ago as part of my gift for purchasing Premier.

So my question is: how do I resolve this? Is this something Ooma handles? Is there some magical database in the telephony cloud that I need to access to update it myself?

Any pointers much appreciated.

You would need to call Customer Service to fix that problem.
