If I choose the Premier plan and port my existing tel landline number, I understand I have the option to keep and use the number assigned to me. Can that second "virtual no." be used to make calls while line 1 is being used?
If so how is a switch to the second line made from an extension phone while line 1 is in use. What other advantages to a second line have Ooma premier users found? Thanks for your help

You can only leverage the 2nd line (have a second phone conversation while another is going on) function if you have a Telo handset. Even then, when you dial out, your outgoing callerid will still show your primary number unless you use dialing prefix **1.
