Ooma calling self

Post by mercergirl » Fri Jun 22, 2012 10:23 am

I have received two early morning calls from my own number. Something is causing my phone to call itself. What would cause this?

Anyone using Ooma mobile app in your family?

If not, might be spoof calls. Haven't received one on Ooma but I've received a couple of calls on cell showing my own cell number. Scam artists trying to rip people off; was telling me that I had to get to my computer right away and do as told otherwise bad virus would eat me alive. I politely told them to go satisfy themselves.

No one else is using my phone. Calls are coming when we are asleep. Might be hacker.

Quite some time ago I was receiving calls with it displaying my Ooma phone number. I added my phone number to the blacklist and have not rec'd another since.
