Incoming phone log question

Please help me if you can.

My incoming phone log has a phone number column and a name column. In almost every instance both of these columns display the incoming phone number. There is one number which I believe is associated with an attempted identify theft scam. That number is shown in the phone number column but in the name column "Anonymous" is reported. I need to know the significance "Anonymous" appearing in the name column. Thanks.

That means the caller subscribes to privacy feature not showing called party his/her name, number. But there are reports of Ooma showing you the number anyway. Maybe that's what's happening here? You can find out if there is a name associated with that number here:

You can block these calls if you have access to this page: check "enable anonymous call block" and click on save. I am not certain if these calls wth number but "anonymous" name would be blocked though.
