DSL is already unattractive enough.

My neighbor in TN just got the Ooma Telo. He was with AT&T for phone & Internet. He called them to do a "dry loop" and drop phone and just have Internet with them. They said "no can do". I'd never heard of them declining the option to just keep Internet and cancel phone service. They were adamant that they couldn't do it, so he cancelled AT&T altogether and went with Comcast for Internet.
