International Bundle

Post by rmshp » Wed Mar 28, 2012 8:27 am

Hi,

I have subscribed to international bundle - 1000 intl mins/month plan. My account has been charged $10 on 27th of this month. But I still couldn't make any international calls even on 28th (today). Can somebody explain how this international bundle works like - it is expected to work from the start of a month though charged almost a week earlier.

Thanks,
Ramesh

The International calling should work immediately. Are you dialing 011 before the number? See topic https://www.ooma.com/app/support/gettin ... al-calling .

Or contact Ooma Customer Support:

Thanks Thunderbird!

Here is the response from Ooma customer support:
..."Your billing cycle for the call plan is every 27th of the month while the 1000 minutes refreshes every 1st of the month.
So by April 1st, you'll have a fresh 1000 minutes again and then your next charge will be on 04/27/2012."...

I think that explains...

You should be on your own billing cycle for the international plan; if you started on the 20th, then the cycle starts up again every month on 20th. The minutes bucket behaves this way too. I think Customer Service is mistaken.

That is exactly right. Minutes are counted per calendar month.
