How do I get my name to appear on the receiver's "Caller ID"? Currently my phone number appears on the receiver's Caller ID. Do I need to get my VoIP phone number listed with the phone directory companies so that my name appears instead? As we have over 4 phone book companies in the area, do I need to contact each phone directory, or is there a clearing house that I need to contact, so that all the phone book companies know my VoIP phone number and then can place my name instead of my VoIP phone number on the receiver's Caller ID?

The called party should see some name along with your number (if landline, VoIP; cell phones only see numbers in general).
