911 calls

Post by just4fn » Wed Dec 07, 2011 9:26 pm

My daughter had to use 911 for a non emerengy call. She lives right on the border of Seattle and Renton. Her call went to the Renton police dept. She was told that the Seattle police needed to be called. How do I change where the 911 call goes to? Her address is correct in My Ooma.
Ooma Telo, Hub.
1958 was a very good year!
No cell phone , no land line- just Ooma
all my eggs in one Ooma basket
I lied- my wife has a cell, but not me!! I like my privacy and not being attached to a phone.

If her my ooma service address is correct, then the call routing should end up in the right emergency response center.

Perhaps have her call Renton/Seattle police business line to ask what center should get her calls based on her address and then ask for okay on a test call. If error in routing found, report to Ooma.
