Multi-ring does not work from Ooma caller

Multi-ring does not work from Ooma caller

O.K., I have a friend who has an Ooma Telo system. Recently she ported her Verizon number to Ooma, but has retained basic Verizon service for emergency purposes. While her incoming calls on Verizon are unlimited, there is a limit on outgoing calls. However, she likes the convenience of being able to answer he Verizon phone when it happens to be the closest one available to her. So, we set up multi-ring in her Ooma preferences.

The problem we are experiencing is that multi-ring is not working when the incoming call is made from another Ooma phone number. Has anyone else had a similar experience? If so, is there a fix?

This is a known issue. No fix for it until Ooma fixes it.

Sorry to hear that as it seems to work well with incoming calls from most other phones. Not a huge problem for me as I also have Line2 (a freebie for me as part of my Toktumi 800 number service). If I call her Ooma number from Line2 the multi-ring works just fine.
