Second Number weirdness

Post by ulysses » Wed Dec 08, 2010 8:21 pm

My first number, 206-###-####, works fine.

I added a second number, 360-###-####. I can call that number, and it goes right to voicemail, the phone never rings. The voicemail has my greeting on it, and I receive the voicemail.

The calls to the second number don't appear in my call logs.

If I try to use '**1' to call out from that number, I get a busy signal.

Maybe it takes some time? In any case, give CS a call if it still doesn't work in the morning 1-888-711-6662 Monday - Friday 7am-7pm PST, Saturday-Sunday 8am-5pm PST.
In the meantime, it wouldn't hurt to try power cycling your Ooma.

Power-cycling did it, thank you. I should have tried that right off, though it's weird that the call logs were affected.

But post-power cycling, it rings, I can call out as that number, and the calls appear in the call logs.

Thanks again.

Great to hear. Also, you might want to edit out your full phone numbers :)
