Goodbye OOMA

Post by RobinWyman75 » Mon Oct 11, 2010 10:33 am

I gave it a try. For the past 6 months I have experienced outages, lost calls, lost voicemails, voicemails/calls from other phone numbers!, poor call quality, etc. Going back to Vonage, with the lite service there is no annual contract, or disconnection fees, get 200 minutes outgoing, unlimited incoming numbers and all the premium features that are included with OOMA premeire (or most of them) free. Good Luck.

Robin,

Since you joined, you've been complaining about Ooma's RRF tax structure for about a month and then.....nothing.

If you really experienced quality issues with Ooma, I expect that you wouldn't have kept quiet all this time.

If you really think Vonage is a great deal, great for you, go back to them but don't expect others here to be naive and tag along.

Sorry to see you go, but you need to be happy with the product, and apparently you are not. BTW, I have never experienced any of the problems you mentioned, and that suggests to me that your issues are not systemic.
Good luck.

Not sure but Robin sure was a proponent of Vonage.

I have not experienced any of those problems. Sometimes there is a delay similar to what I have on my cellphone but, all in all the call quality is pretty good.

It sounds like a Vonage surrogate!
