hmmm they said it would complete on july 9 which is yesterday. Should I be connecting ooma or my old phone which is vonage? It's not done porting yet. I wonder why?

Porting takes indefinite time since it on a nationwide database, and various service providers have to respond to it, or you will have one caller from a particular service provider going to your old service and others going to the new.
Plug up the Ooma and have some people try to call it from cell and landline. Or you could try plugging up Ooma and Vonage both for now. I hear that the Ooma needs to be internet connected for Ooma to download changes to it, also.
