How do I find out whether my Telo is running on the latest software update? Do I really need to be concerned about it, and/or is it automatic?

The Telo, Telo handsets, and even the original hub receive udates to firmware automatically. It is performed first internally and then to the beta community after which it may go to a subset of "pilot users" or the general population. All firmware that reaches the pilot users and the general population is well vetted. You can check the firmware level by checking the status on the setup screen ( from a computer connected to the HOME port) or you can check on a Telo handset.
