Porting Home Number With Premier

Post by FreePhone » Sun May 23, 2010 4:56 pm

So what if after my Premier Trial I sign up for Premier, get my home number ported for free but then a year later decide I don't want Premier any longer. Does my home number stay ported?

I really don't want the Premier service, even though I could use some of the features, but though this way I could get my home number ported for free by just paying for Premier for a year. Because $40 seems like a lot just to port a number, when for $80 extra I get some great features and a second line to use for a year.

Yes, your number stays ported. Porting is a one-time fee that's included in the one year Premier fee, but porting itself is not a subscription.

Yes I understand porting is not a subscription. Just wondering if my home number port would be permanent should I not keep using the Premier service.

Yes your port will stay permanently, there is no way to undo a port legally without you asking to go back to your old phone company.
