I recently ported one of my landline numbers to Ooma and my other landline number to my cellphone. Prior to the port, my multi-ring feature was working as advertised. (Incoming calling rang both my cell phone and my home ooma line).

Now, the Multi-ring no longer rings my cellphone. It worked for one day after the cellphone port but the next day stopped working.

I am wondering if this has something to do with the fact that ooma has problems forwarding calls forwarded from landline phones?

Any ideas or assistance is appreciated.

If you've ported your landline, it sounds like Ooma is working off a (now) Ooma number and not a "landline" number from another phone service provider.

So, it should work. The only time multi-ring doesn't work for me is with Ooma to Ooma calls.
